Timing chains, timing belts or cam belts, and wet belts, are all vital engine components that demand being maintained in the best possible condition and it can cause catastrophic damage if they fail. This means that, in order to reduce the the risk of expensive engine repairs, it is a sensible precaution to regularly have your timing belt checked over by a reliable independent garage with all the necessary skills and facilities at their disposal.

This can be especially relevant to vehicles with wet belts, such as the Ford, Citroen, and Peugeot ranges with Eco-boost engines, because they have been known to fail much earlier than they were originally designed to last.

With that in mind it makes sense to book in for a wet belt check at POH Auto Services where we can give you expert advice and complete peace of mind. Phone 085 731 3754, contact us online or visit our premises in Coolock, Dublin.
